Superstitious? Depends on who is asking.

Daily writing prompt
Are you superstitious?

Now, how do I go about answering this question? I believe in an unseen world. I believe that there are so many things that are happening, things that we can’t see with our physical eyes. If that is being superstitious, then a big yes and the people say Amen.

However, if by superstition, we are talking about throwing salt over my shoulder to ward off evil and all of that, then no. A very big no! it is cool to watch stuff like that in movies, and read them in books, but these are not things I will do in real life. I love black cats just as much as cats of any other color. I do not believe in tarot card readings or locations of the moon. I also don’t believe in all things related to zodiac signs.

So you see, the answer is kinda complex. To me, superstitions are basically myths. Sometimes, I indulge them though. There are times when I try not to “jinx” things or events by avoiding discussions about them. And yet, I believe in the power of the mouth, to speak life and death.

Yea, I’m only making this more confusing, lol.

Okay, bye.
